Sailing excursions from Saint-Florent, at the heart of Northern Corsica

Croisière Agriates offers day sailing trips from the marina of Saint-Florent, Northern Corsica (2B). Stan and Emiliano, our local crew, take you to the most beautiful sites of the Agriates desert (iconic beaches of Saleccia and Lotu), the Pigeon Caves and the spectacular cliffs of the Cap Corse as far as the perched village of Nonza, in the Gulf of Saint-Florent.

On board Eridu, our 12-metre Bénéteau Oceanis 400, groups are capped at 10 guests maximum to preserve the intimacy of every sailing. Lunch is served on board at anchor, built exclusively around small Corsican producers in short supply chains. Drinks included: Giacometi cuvée des Agriates wine (rosé and white), sodas and water. We sail within the Cap Corse and Agriate Marine Nature Park, choosing sandy-bottom anchorages to protect the posidonia meadows.

Two signature day cruises: the Agriates day (Cap Corse, Pigeon Caves, Lotu beach) or the Cap Corse — Nonza day. For private groups (hen/stag, birthday, retreat, wedding), private charter remains available on a bespoke basis.

Why Croisière Agriates

Why choose our sailing yacht in Saint-Florent

Four commitments that set our sailing cruises apart from the standard group shuttles or motor boats out of the Saint-Florent marina.

Small groups of 10 max

An intimate experience, far from the crowded group shuttles.

Our yacht's legal capacity is capped at 10 guests by French Maritime Authorities. This constraint is also a quality: we keep personalised service and a pace adapted to each group. No queues, no crowded beaches: you anchor off the beaten path.

Local, certified crew

Stan and Emiliano, based in Saint-Florent, know every Agriates cove.

Our skipper Stan is a professional skipper licensed to carry passengers on board a sailing yacht. Emiliano, second and cook, knows how to read the sea and set a Corsican table at anchor. No subcontractors, no agency staff.

Lunch on board

Small Corsican producers, Giacometi cuvée des Agriates wine, meal adapted to dietary requirements.

Our produce comes exclusively from Corsican small producers in short supply chains. Giacometi cuvée des Agriates wine (rosé and white), sodas and water included to taste. No set menu on board: Emiliano composes day by day, adapting to the dietary requirements (vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies) you have shared at booking.

Marine Park ecological sailing

Mooring on sandy seabeds, well away from posidonia meadows.

We were among the first professional crews in the gulf to adopt the Cap Corse and Agriate Marine Nature Park charter: sandy-bottom anchoring, limited engine use, collection of floating waste, on-board education about Mediterranean biodiversity.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about our cruises

The Agriates day trip remains our signature cruise — Cap Corse cliffs, the Pigeon Caves, Lotu beach in the Agriates, lunch on board with Giacometi cuvée des Agriates wine. It is the most complete way to discover the region in a single day.

In July and August, book 3 to 6 weeks ahead if possible — our 10-guest limit fills quickly. In May, June, September and October, 1 to 2 weeks usually suffices. Last-minute spots can still open up due to cancellations.

Yes, children are welcome on board. We provide life jackets in all sizes. The daily pace suits families perfectly. Child fare €70 up to age 12 inclusive.

If sea conditions do not allow a safe and comfortable sailing, the skipper postpones to a later date or refunds in full. We always decide no later than the evening before.

None whatsoever. These are relaxed cruises, not sailing lessons. Our crew handles all manoeuvres. If you want to try your hand at the helm, Stan will happily let you take a turn under supervision.
